As part of the award-winning team that launched their Star Touch tablet app, I assisted in the development of the product - from a blank page into an expertly designed tablet newsletter.

Collaborating with an incredibly talented team of designers, content editors, producers, and art directors at The Star was an invaluable learning experience. Working in the editorial department alongside the sports section editors was ideal, as I was able to watch games unfold, and live images roll in on the wire. 

 

Producing designs for screens that would be pushed through multiple levels of editorial approval, I became increasingly detail oriented, while making sure each design I rendered was both effective and met deadlines.
